Your money is protected. Estate Culture is a member of the UKALA Total Loss Client Money Protection Scheme, as required by law for letting and managing agents in England.
Why this matters
Client Money Protection (CMP) is a government-backed scheme that reimburses landlords and tenants if a letting agent misappropriates their rent, deposit or other client money. Since 1 April 2019 it has been a legal requirement for all letting and property management agents in England to belong to an approved CMP scheme and to display their certificate.
Estate Culture Ltd is a member of the UKALA Total Loss CMP Scheme, so any money you pay us (deposits, rent and fees) is fully protected. Our current certificate is shown here and available to download at any time.
